Description
MDA carried out an environmental study for two exemplar schools, which included supporting LCE In the passive design of the classrooms, incorporating high thermal fabric mass and high performance glazing systems with exposed concrete ceilings to enable fabric energy storage. This works in conjunction with night ventilation routines to cool the internal surfaces and purge accumulated heat in preparation for heat adsorption the following day. The environmental report was supplemented with MEP design drawings and specifications to Stage D.
