Description
Demolition of former Memorial Hall and construction of a new two storey, 10.7m high steel frame, multi-purpose community hub.
The new Memorial Centre Building includes a hall with retractable seating for 200, café, shops and a crèche, as well as a music and arts performance/practice room and meeting and conference rooms.
There is also car parking for 60 vehicles.
Finalist in the Large Non-Residential Scheme of the Year category at the ProCon Awards 2018.
Winner of Leicestershire & Rutland Local Joint Consultative Committee Craftsmanship Award 2018.
Winner of Best New Build Architectural Design - Charnwood Design Awards 2019.
