Description

MDA acted as Client Representative on the construction of a new offsite works factory, predominantly used for light gauge steel constriction and other MMC deliverables, on behalf of British Offsite and Weston Homes.

The 120,000ft² factory is home to the most advanced light gauge steel panel assembly in Europe with the robotic production line capable of delivering 4,000 homes per year.

The system in place can deliver MMC elements for houses and flats as well as having the flexibility to manufacture internal fit-out modules, including bathroom components and kitchen and bedroom products.
