Construction of a new build, 140 bedroom, 7 storey modular hotel (basement, ground, first to fifth floors).
Modular bedroom/bathroom pods were manufactured in China, shipped and delivered for the bedrooms on floors 1-5. Basement and ground floors in traditional construction for back-of-house and public areas. External cladding system for floors 1-5 and render to ground floor.
Construction was delayed due to the early effects of COVID in China, which resulted in delays in manufacture and shipping of the modular units, which were on the critical path.
