SS Great Britain - New Weather Deck

Description
A 9 month conservation project to install a new 98 metre long weather deck, made with new sustainable Accoya wood, to protect the 180 year old iron hull beneath.
Thanks to funding from Arts Council England, the new deck should last 40-50 years.
MDA provided cost management services from a very early stage of the project to inform applications for funding, managed the procurement of the works and controlled the costs within the budget during delivery of the works.
