Description
The East Wing Restoration Project saw the re-opening of the original Victorian Alexandra Palace Theatre and the transformation of the East Court of this historic 1873 Grade II listed building to provide a multi-functional space.
The project included a 2-storey learning and participation zone for creative activities and a refurbished and reconfigured main entrance and exhibition space.
Winner of RIBA London Award 2019, RIBA London Conservation Award 2019 and RIBA National Award 2019.
Finalist in the Refurbishment of the Year (non-office) category at the Building Awards 2019.
Winner of Heritage Project of the Year at the AJ Architecture Awards 2019.
