Description
The Edith Murphy House Project was a major refurbishment of the previously known Bosworth House, creating a new facility for the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, with accommodation for the majority of the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
The 5,300m², ten storey 1970’s concrete framed building now accommodates classrooms, lecture theatre, ICT lab, meeting rooms and offices.
The refurbishment also comprised full window replacement and a new lift and stair core, incorporating two new large lifts and main staircase.
The project achieved a Very Good BREEAM rating.
