Tom began his career working for a property development company where he was involved in feasibility studies, procurement and contract placement, as well as cost and project management through the project life cycle. 

After achieving a first class BSc (Hons) Degree in Quantity Surveying, Tom joined MDA Consulting's London office in 2022. Tom has since undertaken Quantity Surveying/Cost Consultancy and Employer’s Agent roles in a variety of sectors including residential, commercial, retail, and cladding remediation.

Tom is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and joined MDA’s Emerging Board in 2025.
